Travel Threads
My photography has always been about noticing a place, a face, a fleeting moment of light. Travel Threads turns that attention into something you can touch. I take my own photographs and stitch into them, adding hand embroidery, until the print holds real texture instead of just ink.
It starts with sheep. Candy Floss Fleece takes twelve portraits from the same flock and gives each one its own ice cream coloured coat: Blueberry, Lemon Drop, Butterscotch, and more.
