Karl was laid to rest at Ocean View Burial Park in British Columbia, a non-sectarian cemetery designed to be peaceful rather than monumental. With the help of cemetery records and staff, I was able to locate the exact plot where Karl is buried.
Though there is no stone at his resting place in Burnaby, Karl’s name is not unmarked. It is carved into his family’s granite monument in Truro, Nova Scotia, alongside his parents and siblings.
